[TR] TR6 Speedo Cable

A while back I thought I saw a comment on the list about replacement speedo
cables causing damage to speedo gauges due to the insertion portion being too
long. I replaced my cable several months ago and know my speedo indicator
"dances" while at speed. If anyone has information I look forward to your
response. Also, if it is too long what length should it be. Can anything be
done by a novice to cure the "dancing"? If a rebuild is necessary who would
you recommend?
