In case you are wondering George, the factory always punched the holes in the sheet metal. If the heater and/or OD were not fitted, they just left the holes covered with vinyl. At least that was true for the earlier cars with vinyl glued to the dash. I don't know about the later ones (post 60K TR3A/B). -- Randall
