FWIW, I was reading through some old TSOA newsletters; and one of them has
the comment that "squeaks and groans" from the front suspension are usually
from the _lower_ inner pivots.

"The Standard-Triumph Service Department now recommends application of a
solution of alcohol and glycerine to the bushings."
