[TR] TR2/3 A type OD question

< Trying to get my OD to stop dripping from the large brass drain plug.

Hylomar is a good suggestion, but on threaded plugs I use Permatex 2B, non-hardening.  Put a little bead around the base of the plug and screw it in - no leaks.  I have used it on drain plugs, O-rings, etc. Of course this assumes there is no real severe distortion or other problem.
