[TR] 1948 triumph rumble seat roadster

To add to this discussion, this 49 Triumph 2000 Roadster was at the Auburn 
Indiana Fall Collector Car Auction this past weekend and was expected to 
sell for $45,000 to $50,000. I don’t know what it actually sold for however. 
It definitely was a pristine example. Just 1 of almost 900 cars at the 
event. May not help on the rarity question but helps give it a value.

Subject: [TR] 1948 triumph rumble seat roadster

This weekend I saw a 48 Triumph rumble seat roadster.  The rumble seat had a 
windshield.  Sadly someone tried to turn it into a street rod and changed 
out the engine.for a v six.  There are other parts changed but basically all 
there.  It is for sale in West Virginia, near Pipestem, if anyone is 
interested I took a few pictures.  Is this a rare car?
