Hi Listers and Happy New Year,
Some time ago it seemed a good idea to put polyethylene (plastic sheeting) in between the leaves of original rear TR suspension leaf springs.. Seemed to make springs more flexible by reducing inter-leave friction.
Looking at Randall's TR related photos today (always interesting!) at;

am wondering if it has made noticeable difference to TR owners in comfort and/or road holding, and/or if, as Randall's later photos MAY indicate, an increased rate of leaf breakage?
Wondering if I should do more than just brushing oil on my mostly original leaves (one leaf replaced 29 years ago) before reinstalling..
Cheers,
Carl
