[TR] TR3A --- Lever shocks and steering box

As I understand it (could certainly be wrong), clutch type limited slip units normally require an additive that prevents "stick-slip" aka chatter when the clutch plates are moving slowly against each other. The SynPower supposedly does not need the additive, meaning (I assume) that it always slides smoothly. Seems like that would be a Good Thing in a steering box.

At any rate, I've been using it for a long time, and it seems to work very well for me. It's unfortunate that I made several changes at the same time (rebuilt the suspension using brass bushings in place of the silentblocs and Nylatron instead if rubber & nylon, rebuilt and carefully adjusted the box, and switched oil) but the overall result was simply stunning. Left me wondering why on earth I hadn't done them long before! I can literally parallel park with one hand, and I often drive with only one finger & thumb.
