Look into shipping by Greyhound.  You have to take it to a terminal, and it has to be picked up at a terminal.  I shipped car hoods that way.

2008- had a Hood for my 63 Dart GT convert shipped by PO fromEl Paso TX to Virginia.  Was shipped via Greyhound bus.

Had new driveshaft shipped by Delta Motorspirts Phoenix to Chicago for my Jensen GT.
(Jensen meet x country trip 2006)They Shipped by FedEx.
