 Hello, Brad.  There is a list of conditions under which you can receive a refund.  On the registration page there is some small print and a button you can press for more small print that gives a list of specific conditions where a refund is warranted.  Outside those you're out of luck.
I opted out.

I was registering for the 2023 VTR National in GA and got to the prompt where it's asking whether or not I want "Purchase Protection".  From my understanding for $17 dollars I get a guarantee that if I cancel for any reason I get my money back.  
I'm a little confused.  It's been a few years since I went to one of the conventions but it was always my understanding that if you canceled prior to the event, assuming not the day of or similar then you could get a refund.  Has this policy been changed?  
Is this some third party Purchase Protection plan?  What are the cancellation rules anyway?
