[TR] Windshield wiper wheel box question

Hi Dave,
I tried using RainEx on the way back from the Kas Kastner race at Pitt Raceway and it wasn’t fun. I was discussing this with a good friend of mine this morning and he suggested that the reason we don’t hear about more of this is that most classic car owners don’t drive in the rain on purpose.
I have the bad wheel box out and will have my new one tomorrow morning.

I have a set of original wheel boxes but there is no way I can get them swapped in before we leave this Thursday. For instance, Is there some type of shim stock/adhesive combination I could wrap around the knurled wheel on the wheel box?
