[TR] Selling the 6

After 25+ years of ownership, I have decided to sell my '71 TR6.  I don't
drive it as much as i used to, in all honesty, I'm too busy with other
things to give it the devotion it needs.
    I would like to offer it to anyone on this list that would like to
purchase it, before listing it publicly.  It has been a very good car, and
while it has fallen into disarray, I feel that it is a good project for
someone that would like to restore it to its former glory.
   Here's the deal on the car:  The engine was rebuilt about 20 years ago
by myself and my cousin, who is a certified Porsche/Audi mechanic.  We
bored it .40 over, put in a mild cam, had the crank  cleaned up, put in new
pistons of course and  left everything else alone.  Nothing was spared on
making the engine right.  It has had probably 5K miles put on since then,
and it will pull strong.  New clutch, TOB, all that stuff, and has the
Landcruiser shifter fork and all that.  It was built right.
   The last time it was run was April of 2022.  I'm ashamed to say it, but
it's the truth.  She deserves better than I can give her.  I will probably
start and run with some TLC, but she really needs new carbs.  These were
cleaned up in early spring of 22, they're not really as good as they should
be.
   Brake system was good at last drive, I converted it over to DOT5 some
years ago, it was done properly, and has given no trouble since.
   Bodywise, I had a friend of mine paint the car, it was done as well as
he could do it, but in no way is it a high dollar paint job.  The code on
the car is senia, but when I got the car, it had already been resprayed to
maroon, so I left it at that color.  It has one small "Boo-Boo, near the
left headlight, won't take a fortune to fix it, but it is there.
   There is some bubbling under the paint on the rear deck lid, I would
recommend that this be addressed pretty quickly.  Otherwise, the body's
pretty good.  The frame is straight, has never been wrecked.  I would say
that all the rubbers, windshield, windows, etc. should be replaced, but
that will be up to the buyer.  The top is shot, but I have a new
one(different color, i was going to convert to biscuit) I will throw in.
   The interior is complete, but is rough.  needs a new tranny tunnel,
carpet, dash, glovebox, etc.  I have pictures I will include if I can get
them on here.  Not hiding anything, this car is an open book, I'll be happy
to answer any questions as honestly as I can.
    I haven't set a price on the car, I figured that y'all would know more
about that than I would.  I don't want to give it away, but I do want to be
fair about it.  Advice is welcome.
    The car is located in Franklin, N.C.  about 1.5 hours west of
Ashville.  For those that don't know, that's about 2.5 hours from
