[TR] Race Ramps -- anyone else using them?

As it seems most of the list is lookin' for a bit more activity, and
there's only so much we can say about FB, here's something for everyone to
chew on for a bit...

Last year I got a set of Race Ramps to make it easier to work under the
TR3B.  These lightweight, bedliner-coated expanded polystyrene foam blocks,
made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, are pricey little devils, but these
things are doing everything I wanted from them and they're holding up fine.

Race Ramps make a variety of these things, some literally configured as
ramps and others (like mine) that work as cribbing to raise the wheels.  My set
of 2-piece 12-inch ramps

inches of clearance from the garage floor to the bottom of the frame.  More
than enough for access, especially as the complete underside is open -- the
Race Ramps are under the tires.  I'll be under the car tomorrow bleeding
the brakes as part of my DOT5 conversion.

To get the TR this high I have to jack the car four times to place the Race
Ramps: front (first half of cribbing), back (another first set), front
again (second half), and finally the back (second half and done).  Lowering
the car is the same process.  Not terribly convenient, so the car goes up
when it's gonna be there for a bit.

Here they are in use (the second photo at my new place outside Santa Fe).
I might have had room for a two-post or four-post lift, but truly, the Race
Ramps are enough.
