Your poem implies the engine no longer works on your car? Something’s gone wrong somewhere.

The engine on my 1950 Ferguson TE20 is still as good as ever and that’s with 18,500 hours on the tractor meter and the instrument itself packed up in 1978! Can’t find anywhere in the UK to repair it and my best guess is it’s done another 20,000 hours since the meter broke. Plenty of life should still be there for you unless body rust has done its work.
