[TR] carpet edges

Is there a kit or a good way to trim out the edges of carpeting?  The car I have has a couple missing pieces.  I've got a matching roll that I can use and I'd like to trim the edges.  Some of the existing pieces have what looks like black vinyl edging and I'm hoping I can do something like that
