[TR] gage question

Make sure that the capillary tube is routed well away from the steering shaft, other wise it will get wrapped up and destroyed on full lock turns. Ask me how I know.

There are lots of options!  

 

Even the early TR4 gages look pretty different than the TR3 gages, so what I thought might be easy was not.

 

I decided to ask the gage.

 

I figured if it worked, I would use it.  If not, given that it would need a total rebuild, I’d have it converted to electric.

 

It works!
