Do you have ballast in the turn signal circuit? Right and left sides are connected by the indictor light in the speedo. If not enough resistance in the circuit, current will bleed through to the other side causing odd combinations of lighting. Either get ballasts or as a test, replace the front Leds with incandescent. They will provide enough resistance to correct for the cross-bleed. In mine I just have Leds in the rear, so it works for me.

Is this what you meant to say? Do the left lights flash when the switch is in either direction? If so, double check the turn signal switch wiring and make sure the GW, GR and LG/N wires are connected correctly.

first - the flasher switch went bad years ago so it has been bypassed.

the blinkers were working previously. the blinker module was bad and i replaced it.

i have tested the new blinker module - it is LED as are most of the lights on the car - it works. If I go from the module to the battery ground with a test light it blinks

the blinker switch, according to my continuity tester, works.

when i turn on the right blinker, the left front and rear blinker lights just stay on. when i turn on the left blinker, the left front and rear blinker lights just stay on.

not sure where to go from here. am looking for direction.
