As an inexpensive alternative, consider the Freeway Ramp Racing
Simulator.

I used to live near the freeway and it was over 1/2 mile between the
entrance ramp and the next exit with a dedicated lane going from one to
another so I never had to enter traffic. I could run all 5 gears and hit
over a 100 before braking radically and then using the duplicate return
route. Not much for handling but what a cheap break-in session.
