Earlier this month, it was announced that Pittsburgh International Race
Complex has been sold and will no longer operate as a motorsports facility.
The PVGP has enjoyed an outstanding partnership with the track since
launching our Historics there in 2004. It has been a cornerstone of our
event and we’re grateful for the memories, and the incredible racing we’ve
shared there.


The weather will be sunny with a high near 60 degrees and no rain in the
forecast, so join us tomorrow, Saturday, November 1, as we say goodbye to a
legendary venue. In a generous gesture to the motorsport community, Pitt
Race is opening its gates one final time for a special farewell event
supporting the PVGP charities.


There will be a car show on the VDA and charity rides all day. The Smokin'
Steer foodstand will be open all day, and karting and PVGP merchandise will

   Please note that during checkout, the online form erroneously asks what
   car you will be bringing to put on track, but this is for the car show only
   and putting your car on track is already sold out. Please enter the vehicle
   you will bring to the show.
   - The Vehicle Dynamics Area, also known as the skid pad, is a 6-acre
   paved surface at the facility's entrance.
   - PVGP Historics merchandise will be for sale— your last chance to grab
   a piece of history.

CHARITY TRACK RIDES

20-Minute Sessions Every Hour
Saturday, November 1 
8:40 AM - 5:00 PM


   - Similar to what the PVGP did at lunchtime at Pitt Race each July with
   fans getting to experience a thrilling 2 lap ride on the track.
   - We are asking all licensed racers to bring out their race cars or
   sports cars and offer track rides.
   - A 20-minute track session is reserved each hour for charity rides.
   - Spectators to make a $50 donation per passenger ride in a racecar for
   2 laps! All proceeds benefit PVGP charities. Credit cards accepted
   on-site for rider donations.
   - These laps, while spirited, do not exceed 70 mph. Helmets are not
   required for the drivers or passengers.
   - There is no cost for our racers to participate, but they must email
   our Competition Director, Joe Teplitz <jdteplitz at pvgp.org>,
   <jdteplitz at pvgp.org>to let him know they are coming. We have some great
   race cars coming out to join us!
