No longer can a lower boot hold the upper boot in position.? Up to now? the gear shift boot just sort of hung there,? with a gap.? ?What would work would be to epoxy or otherwise glue the rubber boot/ leather gaitor to the pedestal itself.? If anyone out there can visualize what am talking about,? or is familiar with the problem Iam open for suggestions.? I tried modifying a lower boot but that didn't work.?
