[Zmagnette] Stub stacks

Arch;
I think that 's where I got the idea for my own box for my MGA way back
when, and where I found out about the availability of a nice aluminum radio
shack project chassis of the appropriate size. I'll do some digging around
in the archives and see what I can find.
Once long ago I started on a project to cardex all my magazines for easier
reference to old issues and subject matter therein. Never had the staying
power to finish that kind of a project. Then one other time I offered all my
magazines to a public library if they would microfilm them for me so I could
store them in a shoe box. That never came to pass either..library said too
expensive even if they couldn't get the books anywhere else.
That's just the start of my automotive library. Include Sports Car Graphic,
MG Enthusiasts for 27 years, lots of years of Classic and Sports cars, and
Sports and Classic Cars, 25 years of Competition Press & Autoweek, Grass
Roots Motorsport, British Car evolving into Classic Car Enthusiasts, MG
World, and a few car club ones and MG Registers publications, and you see
how my attic can be getting fullish. Of course I have a bookcase or two full
of hardback real books on things MG and sports cars in general, tuning
manuals for the XPAG motor from Nuffield folks, Automotive Engineering
Handbook, (one of my favorites) books on handling and suspension setups, a
wonderful little book by Sterling Mosses mechanic for many years Alf
Francis, called The Racing Mechanic; AND about 50 DVD / VHS recordings of
things automobile too including neat old races.
Have pity on the poor relatives when I die, sorting through this mess plus
about 1500 diecast mostly, auto models.
Boy are they going to have a sale at my garage, before they ever start on
the automobilia and car parts.

Wayne, My memory is not the greatest.... But, I am guessing '56, '57, '58.
It was a relatively long detailed article showing how the metal box had to
be fabricated the whole bit. When you are looking through that stack
another great article contained the plans for a DIY Morgan. Arch
