[Zmagnette] Another new member...

Definitely, Mike!  

Storm,  the official annual meeting for the Magnettes is the NAMGAR GT.  NAMGAR regards us as an interest group within their numbers.  While NAMGAR membership is optional for ZMG members, quite a few of us do belong.  Among the advantages that a small group like ZMG gets, are all the benefits of a large, well organized club.  Most impressive of these are access to a beautiful slick-paper magazine that is always in search of more Magnette content, and the welcome mat at the annual meets (GTs). Even ZMG members who are not NAMGAR members have been welcome at the GTs.  This year, it's GT39 in Ottawa, Ontario, and here's the detail: http://www.namgar.com/events/category/gt-39_ottawa_ontario/  Also go to http://gt39.namgar.com/  If you would be traveling from western states and provinces, you need to check out the C2C (Cruise to the Capital).  It is a caravan event from Victoria BC to Ottawa.  It's based on the idea of Rally to Reno in 2011, and I can tell you that R2R was the most fun MG event we've ever attended - a veritable moving car show where you really drive the cars - just as intended.   

What are the chances you, Ed Brorein, Steve Travato, Steve Wagoner, and whoever else from the New England area that I can't think of at the moment, can organize your own caravan? 

 I know the Bachelders will be there, who else?   As a matter of fact, FOR ALL MEMBERS, could you send me an email at my waywardmgs at comcast.net address letting me know if you're at least hoping to come?  I'd like to get an approximate headcount to start planning. I know there will be a Magnette Breakfast.  If you'd like a Magnette Tech Session, let me know, and let me know what topics you'd like to see covered. Any other Magnettes events you'd like to see?
