With chassis number of 13937 the car is certainly a ZA, as the ZB started around chassis 18100 or so,

The VIN checker is for modern cars with 17 digit VIN numbers.

The code gives you some info, but not if the car is a ZA or ZB.

I am an photographer of old timers. Right now I am in Thailand where I found an MG Magnette ZA or ZB, I am no expert on this matter. I have got the vin code though.

I tried the http://vindecoder.eu/check-vin with result:
Error: VIN number is not valid. Please fill in 17 chars VIN code (chars A-Z, 0-9).I have no idea what 17 characters is mentioned nor where to find

Can you please help me on my way how to find the information about this specific vehicle?
