[Zmagnette] Oil Filter

Hi folks,
I am basically trying to find out everything about this car, and I thank you
for your wealth of information. Cheers to Kelvin at Moss for pointing me to
this group.
So while I wait to pull the engine and such, I decided to take off the oil
filter. I got this:
What filter is this? In the manual I have, I see nothing like it; I don't
see it in the Moss catalogue, either (at least I don't see any of the parts
they have in what I have). I am wondering if I want to go to the modern oil
filter adapter. My dad used to make them for TC's, and swore by them. What
think ye?
