[Zmagnette] Oil Filter

Also, there are several pieces not pictured that are required for it to
filter. These are inside the can - spring, steel washer, felt washer,
pressure plate, circlip. It was common for people to throw them away
when they dumped the old element in the trash. Without these the element
does absolutely NOTHING. The circlip holds it all on the bolt, but when
you pull the bolt out it all comes loose. Can't tell you how many of
these we replaced!

The upper part has an attachment to provide a fitting for the hard line on the right in your picture but would allow the canister (lower half) to be removed without disturbing this pipe. Both types are as shown in the Workshop manual and in the parts book.
