Tojeiro
The Tojeiro Special, as designed by John Tojeiro, was based on a Ferrari Barchetta, but went the Ferrari one step further by making the entire suspension fully independent. A Tojeiro built by Vin Davison was the inspiration for the AC Ace. Ernie Bailey (of Buckland) brought Davison and AC together in 1953. AC reacted so quickly to the concept that they were ready to have the initial AC Ace presented at the 1953 Motor Show.
