A very good book which covers all the cars since the 1890s and up to the late-1980s. It also summarizes the pre-automobile years and covers the trucks, trains, and aeroplanes made by Tatra.

A fairly detailed book about air-cooled engine design, containing many diagrams, cut-away drawings and photos of all types of air-cooled engines, many of them Tatra.

The book is more a catologue having very little text in 4 modern languages. Quality of paper, printing and photos is very good. 450 pages, 700 photo's in b/w and colour. A must for every Tatra fan.

Tatra 100 Let Ceskeho Automobilu 1897 1997 by Miroslav Gomola. ISBN 80-85991-01-2.

Publisher: A.G.M. Gomola, Brno.

Czech text. 368 pages, 420 b/w photo's, 30 colour photo's.

Because the text is czech it is hard to judge the text. Quality of paper and photo's is little less than the Rosenkranz book. The price is Cz crowns 590,-- (DM 35,--).
