Rolls-Royce/Bentley news from Geneva 1996
Rolls-Royce presented the new Park Ward limousine. Park Ward of
Willesden, London was founded in 1919, and combined with HJ Mulliner in 1962
under the ownership of Rolls-Royce Limited. A detailed history is planned
to be featured this year. In 1993 the Willesden factory was closed, and
the Mulliner Park Ward Coachbuilding Division of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
was established within the factory at Crewe, Cheshire.
A stretched Silver Spur is the base. The body length has been increased
by 24 inches. Each one is created entirely to customer specification.
Customers who wish to explore their dream specification are able to choose
from a palette which may include TV and video, personalised hide and veneer,
rear seat bureau, specially designed seats .. allowing unlimited scope
for individualisation.

or family use, whilst laptop computers modem-linked to the world, facsimile
machines and laser printers crafted into the handbuilt interior make the
Park Ward a command centre for the international business leader."
The Bentley Turbo R Sport is a sporting version of the Turbo R.
The Turbo R Sport features an integrated satellite navigation system and
state of the art enetertainment and communication system into the interior
styling of the motor car. The sporting character is reflected by
the carbon fibre (sic!) dashboard and waistrails!
