DeTomaso Mangusta

De Tomaso Mangusta Spyder
The same car as it appeared at the 1995 Concours Italiana
In 1968, a year after the introduction of the Mangusta, Ghia built a Mangusta Spyder. Though Giugiaro had left Ghia the year before, he was still acting as consultant in a freelance capacity. Power was by the Ford 289 cu. in. V8. A five-speed ZF transmission and limited slip differential were fitted, and top speed was claimed to be 'more than 150 mph', which was almost certainly optimistic, since the closed Mangustas were rarely capable of exceeding 145 mph.
Only one was built and De Tomaso sold it to a foreign businessman.

De Tomaso Pantera GTS 290
O.K. who knows anything about this car? E.g. when it was created? Technical specifications?
