Exhibits: More than 14 acres of exhibits cover technological and in- dustrial development including all aspects of transportation. Over 30 cars are on display ranging from pioneer efforts of the 1890's to Craig Breedlove's Spirit of America, the first land vehi- cle to exceed 500 miles per hour. Other transportation exhibits of note are the German U-505 submarine, famous locomotive #999, a Spitfire aircraft and the actual Apollo 8 command module that orbited the moon.

Tony Hulman, Speedway President, also has assembled many photos and trophies. Additional cars are being added to the exhibit as they become available. The Speedway Foundation also offers several ten-passenger buses for tours of the race track grounds.
