Join the Riley Webring.

You will enjoy increased site traffic as Riley enthusiasts visit your site from other Riley Webring sites. Join the Riley Webring by following the three step process below.

A Complete the form.

The Webring will e-mail you information about your site. Save this information. You will use the Site ID number and password to edit your site. Return to this site and proceed with step B.

Keywords: Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.
Description: Enter a short description of your site.
 

B Add Riley Webring HTML code to your website.

Cut and paste the following HTML code into your Riley website. Place it inside the <body> and </body> tags at the bottom of the front page. If you need help adding this code to your site drop me a line and I'll see what I can do to help out.

Once the webring code is in your website, replace all instances of "SITE_ID" with the Site ID number obtained from step A. Replace "your_name@your_isp" with your e-mail address. Replace "name of site owner" with your name.

C Activation of your site.

After you have completed and have submited the form, your website will be placed in a waiting queue. That is where I come in. I will review the webring waiting queue from time to time and move sites into the Riley Webring. I will be checking for two things in your website:

  • Riley content.
  • Riley Webring HTML code.

Remember: For the Riley ring to work, everyone must have HTML code that links the webring sites together.

If you think its taking too long for your site to be added and you just can't wait to see your site on the webring, well drop me a line. I probably haven't checked at the queue for a few days.
