Thanks for the encouragement. I guess the real attraction of the Alpine is that
the Tiger is just too valuable to mess around with. If something breaks on the
Tiger, I track down exactly the right thing and replace it. But for me a lot of
the mechanical fun is in creative (read cheap) work arounds and kludges. I
like staring at a broken part and remembering that something from a Chevy Luv
pickup truck looks about the same and spending 2 hours at pick-a-part trying
to find it. Driving is fun but so is scavenging for parts and working on the
car!
