I have always felt Alpines deserved more respect than they get.  I don't
feel I am a purist, but I don't like seeing them butchered just because
they don't (presently) have a high value.  It might be going a bit far,
but one might argue that the Tigers were originally factory butchered
Alpines, so it does not matter if you butcher them a bit more, but Alpines
should be cherished.
