Well I'm no expert on Alpines. Personally I think they are best as
body donors for uh, more fun cars... but I can appreciate that others
have different ideas. If you are happy with what you paid.. that's
what it is worth! A new econo-box will cost you twice as much and
be worth half as much fun. Certainly a stock low mileage example
or a perfectly restored one is worth LOTS more than any duct taped
old bomber (probably not even good as a body donor). And certainly
any Alpine is better than any old MG or Triumph or?
Now Tigers.. there's a car. They're not that powerful, the ride is
really vintage, no matter how much you restore them they're still
not TOTALLY trouble free, BUT geez they're fun.
