Hello i have recently subscribed to the Sunbeam list and felt I should now
send some mail to fill the empty space on the list.

I am from New Zealand and have a 1964 Alpine series IV GT which
have owned for fourteen years now. It is good to have a car that is
different from the run of the mill MGs Spitfires etc that are quite common
here. There is a strong Sunbeam Club in New Zealand that caters for most
owners tastes from racing to restoration, trialling, restoration and just
fun events.
On the subject of replacement engines I feel that a Sunbeam without
a Sunbeam engine, unless it is a Tiger, is not a Sunbeam anymore, just a
hot rod. I will now stand back a wait for the proverbial to hit the fan.
