I think I agree with Roland.. I'm happy if it works at all! Of course
I have always fixed it myself..
I have noticed over the years that sometimes you can just move the
speedo cable around alittle and make it work (or not). These gauges
are just not all that good.
Nisonger probably knows what is the right oil.. I don't. I think I
used WD-40 mixed with a litttle 30 weight. The real problem with
mine is worn bearings (holes in brass plates.. how Micky Mouse) but
they don't look replaceable anyway. If you get the viscosity just
right it works pretty good. I'm just too cheap to send it in to be
fixed right, I think if I were you, I would call Nisonger and see
what they would do about it! But in the mean time, move the cable
a little and rap the glass.
