I did not know that there was a 65 series V. Is this a UK only car?
I thought the Series V (1725cc engine) started in the 66 model year.
I think they started making the series V in Sept '65. The bonnet and doors have
squared off corners, but the boot is rounded like a series IV. Not sure when
they started arriving in the US. Mine was registered on the 31st December 1965,
which is an odd date. Car values over here tend to go on the registration
letter, 1965 being a C registration. If the person who registered it waited
another day they could have had a D registered car. Worth more a couple of
years later, when they came to sell.
