Hi.

I've just been informed that my '62 Alpine S2 has approx 3-5 dud spokes
on each wheel. I knew I needed a complete set of tyres but this was a
bit of a blow. My first problem is do I get the existing (painted)
wires repaired - is it possible and cost effective (they have balance
weights all over the place) - or do I buy a new set and keep/exchange
the old ones?

Any Brits on the list know of any suppliers (and costs)? Will any other
well-supplied makes fit (eg. MG)?

Other than the wheels the health check was passed with relatively minor
problems.
