In a Series II it can be done by just lowering the gearbox ( tranny ! ) O.D.
or Manual . The engine will tilt right back to the fire wall so you need to
protect it. Also the fan blade will foul the rad. Disconnect your exhaust
manifold and don't forget the gas line!! You might want to replace the rear
oil seal in the gearbox while your at it - they seem to be prone to leaking
. Last thing - remove your gearshift lever from the gearbox . Good Luck -
