Subject: Cranks, Last Ones, registry
Thanks all for the info on cranks! I have always wondered about
them. Mine won't work -- I replaced the original pulley with a
copy that lacks a slot for the hand crank.
Last Ones -- Is there an Alpine registry somewhere that could
give us some info on when individual cars were produced? Does
Tigers East/Alpines East collect that kind of info? How about
the other Alpine clubs?
Maybe we should start an online registry ...

Ruth Bash has created a Rootes Registry here in the U.S. She has a form,
but I'm sure any paper will do. The form includes: Name, address,
country, home and work phone number, type of car, model, year, series,
mark, 260 or 289, seriel #, JAL/Body ", engine number, color code, color,
lic. #, how long owned, running, restored, stored, parts car, additional
infor, comments. The info should be sent to Ruth Bash, Rootes Sunbeam
Registry, 1752 Oswald Place, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
