I've had a similar problem with my tach. Often just as the car is almost
warmed up, the tach will begin to read about 15% over actual, then after
another ten minutes it will suddenly read accurately again. The guage shows
no other obvious problems, like the needle sticking, jerking or wildly waving
etc. What component(s) would change the reading as the car warms up?
