I bought my Tiger carpeting from the person who makes it for
SS and paid extra for the nylon "Wilton Wool" imitation.
According to her, it is well worth the $75 extra. Some
pieces glue down while other pieces snap. I'm happy with
their quality and appearance.

When you get the dash pad, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! I didn't
get them with my first pad, which is why I had to buy a
second. They don't call that stuff contact cement for
nothing! If you follow the instructions, you should have
no problem. Regarding the windshield rubber, it probably
takes more time to clean off the manufacturing residue than
to install it! but otherwise it isn't too difficult...

***** NOTES from Jay Laifman (JLAIFMAN (at) PNM) at 9/15/95 4:14p

One warning about the windshield -- I have a Series V which had two
little plastic wedges at each end. They were accidentally misplaced and
forgotten in the teardown. I spent hours trying to figure out why the
winshield never fit just right. I even drove it for some time without
them. Then one day -- Pow! -- I remembered them and actually found
them! Needless to say, my windshield now fits perfectly.
