I met a guy on the weekend with a Series V Alpine looking for a hardtop. He
lives in British Columbia, Canada. Anybody got a spare one ?

***** NOTES from Jay Laifman (JLAIFMAN (at) PNM) at 9/19/95 4:30p
I have a late model factory hardtop with all the trimmings except that
illusive stainless trim around the rear window. It has a bit of rust
down the top of the quarter windows and under the bottom. To be
completely honest, I figured I would restore it someday, but now I think
it would be better to sell it and buy one in better original shape. So,
I might be willing to sell it -- unless you folks out there tell me I
should hold on to it because (1) they all have that rust, (2) the
trimmings are the hard part to find, (3) there are so few available
without the cars underneath, that I should hold on to it, or (4) the metal
parts available from Vicky Brit are not as bad as I figure they are. Well?
