I have a similar discolouration in the bottom corner of my
windshield which occurred soon after it was installed. I think it
delaminated first, then the water got in and it turned milky white.
At Sunbeam Northwest 92 in Victoria B.C. the car sat in
the sun all day and it cracked diagonally across the corner!
However, 3 of 4 corners have delaminated and I don't think the top
one was caused by water. The windshield was obtained thru a dealer
locally - it is not Triplex . The manufacturer appears to be
Sudglass-Kristall. So that's my story and when I phoned SS in Kansas
the other day, they advised that the summer special was for the later
Series - a Series II would cost $219.00 am - That's about $3000 Can !!
- so I guess I'll live with it.
