The radios (with orig. speaker) are pretty tough to find, as I suspect most
owners threw them away when they made the 'big jump' to 8-track. The closest
look-a-like comes from the four-seater 1969 Sunbeam Alpine GT & Coupe
fastbacks ('65 Plymouth Barracuda glass-back style). Its the same shape, and
says "SUNBEAM All Transistor" like the Series V, but has black plastic knobs
and buttons instead of chrome and does not have the same speaker.
Fastback Alpines are pretty scarce, but the few out there are usually not
running, and the owner is more than happy to part with it - cheap. For
typically $100-200 you could get a radio, plus a spare 3:89 rear end, an
aluminum oil pan(GT only), and maybe a rebuildable 1725cc block.

P.S. Which autobook did you find a picture of the Series V radio in?
