To the Brand New Alpine Owner:

In addition to the good suggestions posted about replacing the various rubber
bits, don't overlook the possibility that you have the beginnings of an
actual leak from one of the tanks. With all the paint long since flaked off
the inside of the tanks (to become lodged in the fuel line of course), rust
can work very quickly, especially if your Alpine has been sitting for any
length of time (18 years?) with little or no gas.
