OK, well now I know that my "B300" motor is out of a Rapier III. But what
was a Rapier? The only reference I have turned up is in a history of the
alpine article that mentions the Minx/Rapier series... I used to drive a
Minx, that was not much of an engine. Does anyone know where I can get more
info on this engine?

Next question... What else besides the steering box needs to be replaced to
fit a 260/289 or 302 into my Alpine? Is there any information out there on
a conversion such as this?

Sorry for asking the DUMB questions, but I am just getting started in the
wonderful world of british sportscars.....
