Sorry! I thought E V E R Y B O D Y knew. But then how could everybody
ever A N Y T H I N G? My mistake.
SUNI is/was a big international-level Sunbeam event featuring all
Rootes Group marque cars. The first was in Snow Mass, Colorado in
July of 1989. It was supposed to be a one-shot chance-of-a-lifetime
thingy. Trouble was, it was way to cool. Everybody wanted to do
it again. The second, in May of last year was in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin,
five years after thefirst.
Will there be a third in 1999? Beats me! But if there is, we`re takin'
an Alpine! (We took Tigers to the first two--the MkII to SUNI I and the
MK I to SUNI II . . . sounds a bit backwards, doesn't it?)
