As Dick and I indicated in our earlier postings, from our sources, your
engine does not appear to be of standard Rootes origin. Could you give
some other information about your engine? That is, what type of
carburetor or carburetors, fuel pump, valve cover (design and bolting
pattern), and exhaust manifold? Also, you did not indicate where you are
hailing from. Maybe that would give us a clue too.
