-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We decided to rebuild our Series IV engine as a winter project. Although it has
been running quite well, we have been experiencing alot of blow by.
We pulled the engine this weekend. Looks like a new cam shaft if in order. Upon
checking out a couple of catalogs it appears this might be a big problem.
Anyone know where to find a new one? We've heard about possibly being able to
get a reground cam shaft-has anyone had any experience with such?

Fortunately we caught the coneecting rod bearings in the nick of time as they
were on the verge of flaking off bits and pieces, to do who knows what kind of
damage.

The pistons rings and cylinder walls don't look bad. This seems odd because of
the blow by. We'll be getting them checked out.

Any suggestions, experiences, technical info or Moral Support would be
appreciated.
TIA
Barb
