Reply to: Alpine Parts Manual (Not the Service Manual)
The manual I was refering to is the book that Rootes dealers would look at
when someone came in to order parts. It has exploded diagrams (including all
the inner and outer body panels.) of almost all the parts in an Alpine. It
cover all series Alpines (I am not sure if the one from Berkshire Sunbeam
Alpine Centre has the Tiger supplement.) and there is a similar book for the
Tiger. See message below.
Jim Armstrong has copies of Rootes Part #6601334, Supplemental parts list
for the Sunbeam Tiger. This is a very useful book with exploded diagrams of
all the non-Alpine parts in a Tiger. His phone and FAX number is 617-631-8051
(MA) Maybe someone could put a copy of this on the Web-page?
I am also assembling a list of Rootes Service bulletins for the Tiger/Alpine.
Could you please send me the number, date and subject of any copies you have?
After I have a list, I hope to get copies of all of them and get these on the
Web. Thanx for your help.

I'm interested in a manual for a Series V Alpine that shows information
specific to the alpine, especially the body. I bought a manual from
Sunbeam Specialties that turned out to be for the Rootes cars with 1725
engines, with little about the alpine. The message below that you sent
sounds interesting, but it came out of the blue without background, andI
need more info. What series is the manual for, what is it called, etc. I
would also like a parts book, I have the same questions about that.
